Resolved

A connectivity issue inside our data center provider's internal network resulted in a cascading error on our gateway servers which caused Discord to faceplant when recovering from the original failure. We rolled back some fixes to other problems which exposed this new issue and will be implementing a better fix to be deployed soon. Yay the internet. Also happy new year.

Monitoring

We've deployed a patch that appears to have fixed the issue. We're monitoring the fix now. Bumps may still be ahead!

Identified

It appears the gateway servers are running out of memory after an unknown problem occurred. We're implementing a hotfix now.
