Resolved

We've concluded an internal networking issue caused the outage. We have not yet been able to identify the source of the issue within our Linode DC. The issue was automatically resolved in 3 minutes for the majority of users.

Monitoring

We identified in our logs that there was an internal network failure at our data center which lasted 3 minutes preventing our services from communicating with each other. We're working with Linode (our DC provider) to diagnose the issue further.

Update

Automatic failover of the Server system kicked in and recovered. We're investigating the cause of the problem, but service appears to be normal.
